Focus of Practice:
Dr. Lopoo’s practice is solely dedicated to the surgical care of infants, children, and adolescents. Because the disease processes affecting people of these age groups are often different than the adult population it is important to see a surgeon who is intimately familiar with the differences and how to treat them.
Maturity levels differ and children are not simply small adults. Because Pediatric Surgery of Louisiana is solely dedicated to the surgical care of children there is a different atmosphere in our office than you might find in other surgeons offices. Dr. Lopoo recognizes when surgery is needed for a child it often effects the entire family. He therefore spends extra time with families to make sure all of their questions are answered prior to surgery. Dr. Lopoo recommends treatments to families and treats all of his patients like they were his own children.
